POST: because of its shape inspired to the classical mailbox in all its elements.
HOME: Essential, warm and cosy, POST HOME is designed to be your home away from home for a few days of holiday. A new mood to life the holiday.
The choice of wood derives from the need to use materials resistant to thermal changes, weather conditions and respecting nature.
Our research and experience have enabled us to verify that timber normally used for construction in Northern Europe is a guarantee of resistance over time.
First Choice: Nordic Fir
Alternatives: Nordic Pine, Larch, according to availability.
The standard size 550×240: it comes first of all from a technical need of making the structure easy to transport, but also a cosy space for where you can live a different experience.
It is also designed in sizes of 240×900 and 240×800 to offer the possibility to any accommodation facility to increase the number of beds. Or as a reception for accommodation facilities.
The latest born is the Baby: small size 350×240, in the Home version to offer a romantic overnight stay thanks also to the presence of the skylight and, in the Office version, a perfect place to host a home office. Both solution has a little bathroom and wardrobe.
Our designers, being from the Chianti region in Tuscany, were influenced by the idea of vineyards and barrels, from which we took inspiration. We reworked the idea, thinking about travel, the experience of walking, adventures and explorations and especially postcards sent from all places.
This is how we came to the idea of the original American MAILBOX.
Not only an aesthetic element, but as the original design of the American Mailbox, it has also its specific function.
When it is raised, both for accommodation facilities and private use, it indicates that the house is occupied. It can also be customized with the logo of the accommodation facility or any other image.
The mechanism is manual: one can raise the rod when arrived and lower it down when leaving the house, informing this way that the house is empty.
The colours of the interior can be traced back to the tones that we find in nature. Stylistically, we find a balance by combining them with the colours of the structure itself.
For the same reason we have chosen the colour of the Canadian roof tiles to cover the house, while the internal fabrics remain at the free choice of the buyer.
The rod is red as per its original colour.
The large outdoor deck, proposed as an additional element, represents a terrace, an extra outdoor space in which one can relax in the open air, in harmony with the interior style and the shape.
The deck is hinged to the base of the structure and can be closed up to allow the accommodation to remain protected from weather in case of closure for a long time.
With the same structural concept and shape of the POST HOME, but with a reduced size, the structure host a real SAUNA, intended for both private and accommodation facilities, as an additional experiential moment of relaxation and well-being.
The idea is inspired by the Ofuro tub: an ancient Japanese purification ritual that consisted of a relaxation technique to free itself from daily stress, immersing in the tub filled with hot water.
Originally, the Japanese Ofuro tubs were mostly rectangular or square. Our designers revised the shape in a modern key and adopting a more modern Finnish style, where hot tubs are very widespread. The result is a round shape hot tub.
Our hot tub Tina is a wooden structure, complete with internal accessories and equipped (on request) with a stove that, powered by wood, heats the water and provides the opportunity to enjoy a warm bath, even on colder days.
The whirlpool version is also available on request.
Inspired by the design of the most modern wooden sunbeds, it consists of the same elements used for the construction of the PostHome with metal reinforcement profiles. Its silhouette offers unparalleled comfort and a sense of welcome. Two shaped cushions complete the structure.
It is a small wooden structure similar to the PostHome line, therefore with the same characteristics, to be used as a toilet for accommodation facilities or even to be placed in public parks perfectly integrated with the nature.
Ideal for outdoor spaces and for those who want to feel in complete harmony with nature.
The shower is an essential complement for Tina – Finnish tub and for the Sauna.
Built with the same construction system as Tina, it is equipped with an external shower body and with metal elements with a structural and finishing function.
